Located in the heart of the University Campus, the Technopole of Parma is part of the Emilia-Romagna Network of Technopoles, promoted by the Region to connect universities, research laboratories, businesses and institutions with the aim of fostering innovation and competitiveness. Our mission is to promote technology transfer, enhance research and connect the academic and business worlds, creating real opportunities for those who do research, run businesses or have a vision to turn into reality.
We support academic entrepreneurship through programmes dedicated to students, PhD students, researchers and spin-offs from the University of Parma to develop innovative ideas and new businesses. We connect businesses with university laboratories, offering access to advanced scientific equipment and high-level expertise for the development of products, services and processes.
The University of Parma boasts a thousand-year history and today has over 33,000 students and around 1,000 researchers and lecturers.
It offers a comprehensive range of courses, consisting of 57 three-year and single-cycle degree courses and 51 master's degree courses, coordinated by 10 departments.
